5 things that make a stay truly luxurious
There’s quite a difference between a standard room at ‘nice but not amazing’ accommodation and a premium suite at a lovely boutique B&B – but true luxury isn’t always something you can put your finger on.
Here are 5 things that we think make a stay truly exceptional:
Personal service. Having someone pay close attention to your needs and wishes, going that extra mile to ensure that you’re happy, can be a true luxury. Have a special dietary requirement, need extra pillows or want a restaurant reservation making? These are all things that should be taken care of on your behalf, smoothly and easily, on any luxury stay.
A view to die for. At Britton’s Farm boutique B&B, guests in the luxury master suite are on the very top floor of the building, giving them incredible views across the Bath countryside.
Breakfast in bed. Another unique perk of Britton’s Farm B&B is the a la carte breakfast, served in the privacy of your own suite (on a gorgeous white linen-clad dining table) by your own butler.
Tastefully furnished and decorated rooms. A luxurious room is one which every component is the best quality it can be, and where your comfort has been considered at every turn. For example – beautiful oak floors in the bedroom and heated walls and floors made from porcelain ceramic tiles and limestone plinths in the bathroom. On the bed, high thread count cotton bedding for the ultimate in comfort, and in the bathroom – fluffy, soft towels, bath robes and slippers.
Those little extras. It is these details that really do make a stay special, from in-room extras like Nespresso machines, LED flat screens and complimentary refreshments to free Wi-Fi, free parking, free movies and sports, and other personal touches that really do make a difference to your experience.
